On October 1st, a ceremony was held on Tian’anmen Square to celebrate 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Unfortunately, I, together with some schoolmates, were chosen to take part in the parade.
With flower in our hands, we did every move to the music carefully. When passed Tian’anmen Square, we were very excited. My eyes were filled to tears of joy and pride.
Although the three-month training was tough, but it was a great honor to take part in so a great event. I am so proud of my motherland which I surely will put more efforts into study and make her more power in the future!

One morning that I was in primary school, I tried cooking for first time. As my parents weren’t in, I have to cook something to eat. Yesterday I drove to visit several relative. On the way, I noticed three-legged chicken keeping pace with me. I slowed down for a better look at it, but it went down a dirt road, leave me confused. I wanted to looking at it closely, so I turned around and followed it. After a shortly ride, I came upon a house without an old couple sitting by the door and many three-legged chickens in the yard. I asked them, “Are these chickens theirs? They're the fastest chickens which I've ever seen. The old man said, “Yes. ” I asked again, “What do they taste like?" He had admitted, “We are not sure. How we wish we can catch one. ”

There are many reasons why helping others are good. Not only does this behavior make us feel satisfying, but also this satisfaction leads to a sense of belongings. I learn this lesson by helping a stranger out. When I was walking back home after school on last Friday, I came across an old man lain beside the street, who had tripped over because of stepping on a banana skin. By his side scattered his purchases out of shopping bag. Seeing this, I immediate came to him and helped himself stand up. I didn’t leave until I made sure whether he recovered. Now I think I did the easiest thing of all to make myself happy!
