It costs over 120 billion yuan . Now, it's the longest cross-sea bridge in the world. The bridge looks l     2     the letter “Y”. It's also regarded as one of the seven wonders of the modern world.

The HZMB is unique in many ways. It has a service life of 120 years, 20 years longer t     3     most bridges. It's not only a bridge but includes a tunnel and two islands. In one part, the bridge turns into a 6.7 km-long undersea tunnel that passes through two man-made islands.

The HZMB will make it much f     4     to travel among the three areas it connects. The Y-shapes bridge will cut travel t     5     between Hong Kong and Zhuhai from three hours to just 30 minutes.

3 . West Lake is suitable for visiting all year round. The scenery is different according to the weather and season.

Spring

Summer

Last year I went on an amazing trip by boat along the west coast of Canada. It was my brother Harry’s idea. He’s a     1    (记者）who’s also a great fan of boats. But I’d dreamed of visiting the area. So I kept asking Harry if I could go, too,     2    (直到)he agreed at last!

A few weeks before we left home, there was much     3    (雨）in the area we were going to. But luckily the weather was OK at last. In order to save the old village, Grandpa Huang painted on the walls of     4     own house and other houses. He painted things that he liked. In the village, there were many paintings of     5    , such as cats and birds. The most popular paintings for visitors were   of famous people. One of them was a picture of Andy. He is my     6     singer. I liked him so much that I asked a visitor to     7     a photo of that painting and me. 8 . I live in Pennsylvania. It is a     1     （north）state of America, which is the 33rd    2     （large）state in America. You might know some of the cities, like Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Allentown. The state capital is Harrisburg. Now let me tell you a little more about my state.

The Great Pyramid of Giza is one of the Wonders of the Ancient World. It was b    1    more than 4, 000 years ago in Egypt. It is so p    2    that millions of tourists from around the world come to visit it every year.

In Egypt there are over 80 pyramids and the l    3    one is the Great Pyramid. It l    4    on the west bank of the Nile. In fact, all the pyramids along the Nile are on the west bank. The ancient Egyptians compared the rising of the sun to beginning of life and the setting of the sun to the end of life. The workers, Egyptian men and women, worked in teams. The teams had different t    8    . Some dug up the stones. Others moved them. Another team cut the stones. The last group put the stones into the pyramid. There were so many different teams, but the pyramid is perfect. No stone is in the w    9    position.

But how did the Egyptians move those heavy stones to the top w    10    any modern machinery(机械)? No one knows for sure. Many things about the Great Pyramid are still a mystery.
