Last Sunday witnessed a friendly basketball game between students and teachers in our school with the aim of fueling students’ passion for sports as well as release their overwhelming pressure. In the summer of 2023, some students from my school and I served as performer at the opening ceremony of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou. During last year’s Spring Festival, I organized a badminton match for my large family. Nowadays, many students in our school don’t have enough time do sports. Most of our time is spent on study, which causes some health problem. Dear Eric,
I am Li Hua. I am written to invite you to join the table tennis team in our school. As is known that we can benefit a lot of playing table tennis. Last Sunday, our school held a 5km cross-country running race, that attracted many enthusiastic participants, included both students and teachers.
The route went from our school gate to the foot of the South Mountain. About 200 students and 60 teachers participate in the race, which began 9: 00 am and lasted about an hour. The whole course was extreme difficult. However, no participants gave up halfway. All the racers are held on to the finish line.
As the activity was challenging, everyone enjoyed it but benefited a lot from it. Therefore, we both think highly of it, and expect more activity like this in the future.

Football is my favorite sport. I usual play football with my friends after school and join competitions. I have benefited a lot from play football. All the students in our school took a part in the Sunshine Sports Programme in the morning of September 29, 2020, from 10: 00 to 11: 00.
