1 . How to Apply China Visa (签证)
How to apply China visa is the most concerned question for international tourists who plan to travel to China. Here you will find the useful information about China visa requirements and instructions.
China Visa Requirements
▶The valid (有效的) passport
Original passport valid for at least 6 months with blank visa pages, and a photocopy of data page (with your photo on it)
▶China visa application form and photo
The applicants must fill in a complete visa application form and attach it with a recent-taken colour passport photo.
So what is the requirement of the photo? The photo you submit must be passport-type (bare-head, full face) and standard with the correct dimension and background colour.
▶Effective proof of legal stay or resident status (it applies to those who do not apply for China visa in their countries of citizenship).
Supporting Application Documents
For C-Visa, a letter of guarantee issued by a foreign transport company or an invitation letter issued by a relevant authority from China side shall be provided.
For D-Visa, the original and a photocopy of foreign permanent residence identification form issued by China’s Ministry of Public Security shall be provided.
For F-Visa, an invitation letter issued by relevant authorities or individuals from China side shall be provided.
For G-Visa, an onward air (train, bus, ship) ticket with confirmed date and seat to the third country or region shall be provided.
For L-Visa, the tour itinerary (行程) and documents with round trip flight tickets and accommodation reservations, or an invitation letter issued by relevant authorities or individuals from Chinese side shall be provided.
For M-Visa, documents of business activity, trade fair invitation letter or other invitation letter issued by trade partners in China shall be provided.

Somerset Yew Wah Classroom, UK
Somerset Yew Wah Classroom program is a unique English language and life education program in the Yew Wah secondary curriculum catered for Grade 6, Grade 8 and Grade 10 students. Established in 2006, the Somerset English learning and cultural center provides a distinctive opportunity for students to experience an authentic English environment. The Centre is located in a traditional English village in Somerset Sibley’s Barn and the Knowle Hall campus, a newly renovated Victorian-era country house built on 15 acres of land in beautiful open parkland, is situated close to our Sibley Barn’s Centre and was established in 2016. World Classroom
World Classroom is a concept of learning beyond the school building walls. It is an extension of the experimental, project-based learning at the core of the Yew Wah educational model. The World Classroom program is just one of the unique experiences which allow students to sample major cultures of the world, including European, African, Middle Eastern, Pacific and Anglo-American.
Experiencing China
The program provides secondary students with the opportunities to gain insights into Chinese history and culture by visiting various regions of China. This residential program broadens students’ understanding of their own country. Through first-hand cross-cultural experiences, the programs increase students’ understanding of various cultures, promote critical thinking, and help students develop an appreciation of different viewpoints. Students participate in Hong Kong Hike, one of the most traditional annual outdoor activities where students rely heavily on teamwork and personal willpower to reach the destinations when facing survival challenges. “After the hike, he grew into almost a different person. Naked Eggs
What does an egg look like without its shell? You may be picturing the white and yolk in a bowl after cracking it, but that isn’t the only way to remove the shell.
Materials: an egg, white vinegar, a bowl, a spoon
Directions: Fill a bowl with one cup of vinegar. Add the egg to the bowl, and wait at least 24 hours. When you check it after a day, you’ll notice some bubbles on the egg and a residue (残留物) in the water. Use the spoon to gently remove the egg from the bowl. Materials: six cartons (硬纸盒) of eggs, a garbage bag
Directions: Place the garbage bag on the floor to make any necessary clean up easier. Place the cartons of eggs into two rows of three.
