考点2    whose引导定语从句

讲 先行词指人/物，关系词与先行词构成所属关系，应使用whose作关系词，在从句中作定语。

This is the boy whose composition the teacher liked.

这就是老师喜欢他的作文的那个男孩。

This is the book whose cover is blue.

这就是那本封面是蓝色的书。

考点3    “介词+关系代词”引导定语从句

讲 当关系代词在定语从句中作介词宾语时，通常使用“介词+关系代词”引导定语从句。先行词指人，使用“介词+whom”，先行词指物，使用“介词+which”。

介词的判定方法：（1）根据定语从句中的谓语动词或形容词判定；（2）根据先行词判定；（3）根据句意判定。

Tomorrow I will bring the magazine here for which you asked.

明天我会把你要的那本杂志带到这儿来。(由从句的谓语动词asked判定介词用for)

China is a beautiful country, of which we are greatly proud.

中国是个美丽的国家，我们为之感到骄傲。(由形容词proud判定介词用of)

Thank you for your advice, without which I wouldn’t have won the game.

谢谢你的建议，没有你的建议我就不会赢这场比赛。（根据句意判定介词用without）

考点4    关系词只用that，不用which

讲 先行词指物，关系词在从句中作主语/宾语时，关系词只能使用that，不能使用which的情况：

（1）当先行词是不定代词all, anything, nothing, something, everything, nothing, none, the one等或被不定代词修饰时；

（2）当先行词被形容词最高级修饰时；

（3）当先行词是序数词或被序数词修饰时；

（4）当先行词被the very, the only,the last修饰时；

（5）当先行词既指人又指物时；

（6）当先行词前面有who,which等疑问词时；

（7）当关系代词在定语从句中充当表语时。
