1 . The Great British Bake Off is a very popular TV program (节目) in the UK. It is a program to find good bakers (烘焙师). Every week, a group of people will make various cakes and bread. They have a time limit (限制) to make the food. At the end of every show, the best cook is the “Star Baker” and the worst cook has to leave the competition (竞赛). After 10 weeks, there is one winner.
The program started airing in 2010. But nobody expected (预料) it to be so popular. People really enjoy the show’s relaxing and happy atmosphere (气氛).
