1 . 72-year-old Huang Kaihui is from Guiyang, Guizhou. He often swims in the Huaxi River. He has saved over 100 people from drowning (溺水) in his 20 years of swimming.

“I have been swimming for many years. Most of the time, I can tell who is in danger in the water and come to save him in time. But there were also a few situations where I came late and bad things happened,” Huang said. “4. When I didn’t save people, I felt a sense of guilt (内疚)。”
“I never ask for a reward (回报). The only thing I ask is that the people who almost drown are all safe.” 5. As he is getting older and older, he hopes that more young people could start swimming, build their bodies and do more things for society.
