My favorite TV program is a reality show called Survivor（《幸存者》）. It isn’t on TV at the moment     1     it was on last year.

In the show, two teams of people are taken to a(n)     2    . All of them have to sleep     3     because there aren’t any houses or hotels. Hundreds of years ago, news was carried from place to place by people on foot or by horse. It took days, weeks and sometimes months for people to receive news. What Would You Do? is a TV program on American ABC. The program is started by the news reporter John Quinones. He said, “It is popular with many people—both the     1     and the old. It tests what people will do     2     they see someone in trouble. We use hidden cameras to record what will     3    . Its purpose is to tell us to help people in need.”

In a cake shop, one actor acted as a blind woman named Pamela and the     4     acted as the shop worker of the cake shop. The shop worker looked down upon (瞧不起) the blind. China’s Got Talent is getting more and more     1     in China. Many people watch it every week     2     they want to see the ordinary people show their special talents. Of course, there are also many singers and     3    . They all work hard to show their abilities.

Learning Chinese characters goes on throughout(贯穿) the life. If you stop using them for a long time, you will     10     them quickly.
