My Opinions on Using WeChat
WeChat is now a widely used app in our daily life.
Everybody has a favorite TV show. Some people like to watch cartoons, other people like to watch soap operas. Now reality TV shows are very popular in many countries. Reality TV shows have no actors. The stars are real people like you and me.
One of the most famous ones is Survivor (《幸存者》). In Survivor, sixteen people try to win one million dollars. For ten weeks they live together far away from home. Their life is very hard. They have to sleep outside and find their own food. There are many games and tests. If they fail a test, they might have to leave the show. “Survivor” is very popular. Sam, a foreign student, often shares his experiences of Chinese culture on his vlog.
In one video, for example, Sam shared how he had learned the Chinese word “dongxi”, he translated each part separately into “east west”. And he introduced how “dongxi” came to mean “things”.
