The spring festival is the more important holiday for the Chinese people. There are many traditional activity to celebrate the festival, such as to do a thorough cleaning to having a new look for the new year, to paste handwritten couplets(对联) on front doors to bring a good luck. On some areas, people conduct Yangge dance and lion dance to increase the festival atmosphere. Also, people prepared a variety of foods treat the family, friends and relatives. The festival lasts for 15 days. It’s usually the biggest family gathering for most families, but everyone is supposing to go home to join the celebration. Train and airplane tickets are very difficulty to get before the festival.
Tea has a long history in China, dated back to 5, 000 years ago. Obvious, it plays a important part in Chinese culture. A good many of distinguished poets and writers had written many masterpieces about the appreciate of tea and the love for it, among them was Lu Yu in the Tang dynasty. He wrote The Classic of Tea, the first book on tea, but he was regarded as the “Tea Saint (圣人)”．
Chinese people take delight in tea-drinking. It served almost everywhere. Whenever guest visit, offering a cup of tea to them is a basic social custom. Tea is part of Chinese people’s daily life.

The Double Seventh Festival, also know as the Qiqiao Festival, is the most romantic traditional Chinese festival. It falls annual on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month. The festival came from a ancient Chinese romantic fairy tale about the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, who has deeply moved generation of Chinese people. Many men and women in the love usually pray for a happy marriage on that night, hoping for a happy ending to his true love. Today, many young couples in China celebrate the Double Seventh Festival in Chinese Valentine’s Day.

Few days before the festival, houses are cleaned and red couplets are stick. We put on our fancy clothes and setted off firecrackers during the festival. Beside, presents and big dinners are prepared for to celebrate the happy reunion of family and relative. They have dumplings and enjoy the Spring Festival Gala on Lunar New Year’s Eve. Customs may vary from place to place, and the same happy atmosphere is to be found anywhere in the country.

Recently, a famous star has caused public angry by writing on the Great Wall. In the fact, this happens in many place of interest. I have much suggestions to solve this problem.
First, make more posters inform the public the damage of graffiti(涂鸦). Besides, punishments, such as a fine, is necessary to tourists with so bad behavior. There is a tradition in my family. On New Year's Eve, all my relative will come to our house for the feast. As matter of fact, it isn't the food that bring us together but the sense of belonging does. Making dumplings was always of great fun. We put a coin into one of the dumplings. Everybody expects to eat the one with the coin inside, because it is said that whomever gets the coin will have good fortune in the followed year.
