As science fiction offers surprise and exciting, I had a strong urge to read The Three- Body Problem written by Liu Cixin. The book, first releasing as a series in Science Fiction World magazine in 2006 in China, turned out to be a hit.
The book described the story of Ye Wenjie and Wang Miao, two scientists on the not distant future. Ye joins a secret project to contact aliens. Meanwhile, Wang registers or logs on to an online video game called “Three Body”. It has influenced minds deeply that people are worried about the possibility of the earth being invaded by an advanced civilization.
Curiously, I was referred to an online forum and concluded that the concern is necessary, at least for now. Which is declared by scientists, the chance of life beyond the earth develops into superior intelligence is quite slim.

Chinese poetry, an ancient art form,
The earliest form of Chinese poetry can be traced back to the Book of Songs,
One of the most notable
In addition to imagery, Chinese poetry also places great emphasis on rhyme.
In conclusion, Chinese poetry is
5 . Poetry plays with sounds, words and grammar.
In Chinese classical poetry, the form is very important: the correct number of lines and the number of characters in each line. Poetry often follows special patterns of rhythm and rhyme. However, modern poets began to reject traditional structures for poetry in the 20th century.
During the Tang Dynasty, poems by Li Bai and Du Fu became very popular. Li Bai wrote poems celebrating things such as friendship, nature, and wine while Du’s most famous poems reflect on the effects of war on the people.
Just like readers in the West, Chinese readers admire Shakespeare, John Milton and many others for their fine English poetry. The nature poems by William Wordsworth, Ode to the West Wind by Percy Bysshe Shelley, George Gordon Byron’s Isles of Greece, and long poems by John Keats have long been favourites.
Today, many Chinese people are becoming more interested in reading poems, no matter in what language they are written.

6 . Mary Lennox is a young English girl in India who is surrounded by servants. She’s a weak, selfish, and spoiled (宠坏的) child. When her parents and all their servants suddenly die from illness, she is sent to Yorkshire, England to live with her uncle, Mr. Craven.
Mr. Craven keeps his distance from Mary and soon leaves on business. She’s left to take care of herself in his big house and its gardens. As the weeks pass, Mary becomes more independent, grows stronger, and gets more respect for others. Later, she becomes friends with Dickon, a local boy and she also helps her uncle’s son—Colin, get well.
The Secret Garden’s main themes include the importance of friendship, the value of outdoor activities, and the way a healthy outlook on life can affect one’s health. When Mary first arrives at her uncle’s house, she’s a rude, selfish person. This is because she’s never had a friend her own age and has never been told “No.” Later, Dickon helps her develop empathy (同情) for others, which has had the greatest impact on her.
The natural world is key to the second of the book’s themes. At first, Mary is weak because she has never had to do anything for herself. She isn’t even capable of dressing herself without help. Colin is also weak. He stays in bed or in a wheelchair because he believes he can’t walk. The sunshine and fresh air of the gardens benefits both of them in the story.
The third important theme is the power of a positive attitude. People’s minds need nurturing (培养). An important moment for Colin happens when he determines to be a healthy person instead of a sickly one. He repeats his longing out loud and wishes hard for it to come true. Holding this idea in his mind is a key part of his recovery. It is his belief in himself and his determination to succeed that finally helps him regain his health.

8 . There tend to be two types of teachers when it comes to poetry: Ones who love it and bring it into the classroom freely and often. Then, others stay clear.
Build Reading, Speaking & Listening Skills
Children need to learn to read various texts, and poems are one of those forms. They learn to attend to the words they hear and think about what they mean together. Children strengthen their reading skills and build reading fluency through repeated reading. The dots connect in a child’s brain when they see, hear, and say it aloud.
Inspire Poetry Writing
Teach how poems are constructed and the words they contain. It is the first step to writing.
Poetry is a form of expression. Writing lets us express our feelings and thoughts on a subject, while reading encourages us to connect and find meaning in our experiences. Poetry can have a positive impact on children’s social and emotional learning. It may offer them a new way of thinking about something.
Build a Love for Reading
Expose children to various styles and types of text as they learn to read. As teachers, we want them to love the act of reading and what they read as they learn. Reading can be hard work, and the books children learn first often lack that unique ingredient. Poetry is different.
A.Encourage Creative Thinking |
B.Explore Language and Vocabulary |
C.Poetry offers a memorable and motivational way to teach. |
D.It has that special sauce that children long for and so much more! |
E.Poetry teaches us how to combine words to form meaning and context. |
F.This may be because they don’t think it fits with the curriculum and what they are teaching. |
G.Reading comprehension also results in discussions about meaning, connecting, and visualizing. |
