Robert is a science fiction writer. The novel he wrote about robots last year was very popular     20     teenagers. What does he think people’s life will be     21     (probable) like in a hundred years?

He thinks people’s life will be much better     22     it is now! Robots will do some things for us. They will feed pets, work in factories or companies, and help us with housework. He has seen some of     23     (they) in the Robot Show in Japan. The robots there have many different     24     (shape). Some look like dogs and some look like spiders. That’s great! He thinks humans may be able to     25     (live) in space. A good number of scientists     26     (work) hard for that now.

Some people think there will be more     27     (pollute) on the earth. But he doesn’t think so. He says people will care more about     28     environment and the pollution will be less. The earth will be     29     (beautiful).

I think our life will be very different in 100 years.

First, people won’t live on the earth.     30     Special machines will provide air and light, but the environment won’t be the same. Trees and plants won’t grow because there won’t be any soil (土壤).     31     Most of the food will be in the form of a pill (药丸).     32    

Second, I think people’s everyday life will be different. They won’t have to work long hours, because computers and robots will help them.     33     So, people will have more free time and they will be able to enjoy the things they like—sports, for example.

Finally, I believe that everyone will be able to travel to the moon for a holiday.     34     I believe the future world will be an interesting place to live in.
