This is my new friend, Helen. We are in the     1    class. She is an English girl. She is now in China with her parents. She     2     China. And she likes Chinese     3     too. The most valuable gift I have ever received was a photo album from my best friend Kevin.

Kevin and I were classmates for     1     of primary school. We both liked playing football and listening to music, so we always had a lot of things to talk about. It is wonderful to have     2    .

However, last summer, Kevin had to move to another city because of his father’s job. Then he gave me a photo album. “It has photos of the memorable events we have     3    . I’ve also written some notes under each photo.” he said. I was     4    .

Everyone has a true friend in his life. Mary Allen was my best friend—like the     1     I never had. We did everything together: piano lessons, movies, swimming, horseback riding.
