It was not easy to learn different kinds of musical instruments well at the same time. I still     1     when I took my piano lessons, my mother said worriedly to my father, “Why hasn’t he made any progress with so much practice?” I tried to play the piano better. However, my parents never got a strong     2     of satisfaction with my piano performance.

From then on, I didn’t play any musical instrument until my old friend Larry invited me to play the violin with him when I was 60. It made me     3     the happiness of playing music again. One day, when I was     4     Larry asked me to take part in a violin performance with him. At first, thinking of my past, I wanted to refuse. Last week, I had a wonderful summer camp with my classmates.

And there was one of the best things about our trip that made us happy: every few     5     there was a village where we could find everything we needed.

All the local people were really friendly. However,     6     the second day, something happened. We were going down the hill when my brakes（剎车）started making     7     noise, but I didn’t mind at all. At midnight we were woken by the noise in the hotel. We were tired     8     we set off the next morning, but soon felt cheerful when the sun came out.
