Long long ago, koalas were not shy and quiet animals. They lived on the ground (地面), running and playing with all their friends.

Karla, a koala, was happy because a sports day was coming. She knew she could in the big trophy (奖杯). The Sun came out from behind a cloud. It shone down on the man. The man said, "I am warm." He turned down the collar of his coat. The Sun shone more strongly upon the man. The man began to feel hot. He looked up at the sky.

"The sun is shining," he said, "and the wind has gone. I am hot. I'll take off my coat."
