Hannah Mae loved peanuts which were fresh out of the shell (壳). When she moved to South Carolina, she brought a bag of peanuts with her. She planted them ________ under ground and watered them every day.
The other children laughed at Hannah Mae, “Do you think you are a farmer? What are you trying to grow anyway?” Hannah ________ and continued watering her plants.
