Great news! I’m so glad because I 1 (choose) as one of the school students to visit the University of Cape Town in South Africa this summer! The program is designed for some of the brighter 2 (teenager) to experience a different culture. 3 a good chance! 4 , mom and dad 5 (simple) won’t let me go. They think it is dangerous for me, a girl, 6 (travel) alone. But my guess is that they think it is too expensive. I keep telling them I was once 7 a plane on my own to visit you in Texas. They needn’t worry about me because this trip would be almost the same 8 that one. But they just won’t listen!
Will you help me, Auntie Candy? It will be 9 very important experience to my personal growth.
