Qian Xuesen was born at Hangzhou on
Jiao Tong University in 1934, he got a chance to
study in the America. When he was 44,
he couldn’t wait come back to China.
In1956, she set up the first research institute (研究所)
of rockets and missiles (导弹). “Dongfanghong-I” has
been successful sent into the air for 54 years.
Once he said, “My first name is Qian,
and I don’t like money.” He was
call as “The Father of China’s Missiles”.

My town is very small. There is a few
hundred people live there. There is a river
running through our town. A old bridge is over it.
On the main (主要的) street there is a hotel, a
supermarket, a hospital or a bus station. Our
school is also on the street. It is close ∧ a

In the third crossing, there is a library.

I have some great news tell you. Next week we’ll go on a spring
field trip. You know, spring is a best time to climb Mount Tai.
There are many interesting place to visit there. Mount Tai is in
Shandong. So we decided taking the train there. Kangkang helped
we to book the train tickets. I also called to book some rooms.
Many of our classmates didn’t have enough money, because
Michael advises us to raise money by ourselves, such as
put on a show and selling some flowers and old books.

Li Ming lives on Beijing, the capital
of China. His city has the long history and
many place of interest. They have big
shopping centers and huge markets. Their
public transportation is excellent, also.
Buses, taxis, and subway can taking my friends
and me to some part of the city. They can play
sports, see Beijing operas, go to movie theaters,
and ate delicious foods. There are many fine
places such as Beihai Park and Tian’anmen
Square where we can meet with friends there

together. But now the big population in Beijing
