Recently, a powerful hurricane(飓风) hit the east coast of America. Before it came, many people chose to go somewhere much     1     (safe). Jessica Lewis was one of them.

However, she had two     2     (problem). One was that she had a class to take, and the other was that she had her dog Luna with her. She     3     (plan) to leave as soon as her class was over. But if she had to go all the way back to her house     4     (pick) up her dog, it would be too late for her to leave. She didn’t want to skip the class, so she sent     5     message to her teacher to ask if she could bring her dog to class. “I realize that the answer     6     this is probably no, but I thought you might     7     (actual) be a cool enough teacher to say yes,” Jessica said. “I promise she’ll be good and only a bit noisy. I     8     (email) you a photo of her already.”

The “cool” teacher said, “Did you think calling me ‘cool’ would make me say yes? It won’t work. The photo tells me she’s a good girl,     9     of course you can bring her.” Finally, Jessica took her dog to the class. “    10     did well in class.
