My name is Mary Taylor. I’m a 14-year-old girl. I want to be a pilot. I spend hours watching the planes take off from the airport. I love traveling to new places by plane and the idea of flying people around the world!

I’m not sure whether it’s the right job for me. I want to decide soon. I hope to start training early. I want to be young when I’m flying a Boeing 737 or even an A380.

I have so many questions about the job-do you get paid well? I want to make lots of money because I want to have a big family and a big house. Is it fun? Is it safer than being a doctor, a policewoman,etc.?Is it really hard? I’m a girl,so will I be discriminated against（被歧视）? If I decide to become a pilot, where and when should I start training?

My only brother also says if I want to be a pilot, I have to be really good at math, but I’m only OK at math.
