6 . Nathan woke up early and hurried into the kitchen. He saw his family preparing breakfast just like every other day. Where were his birthday presents?
The doorbell rang. Nathan opened the door, but no one was there.
The first clue was in the desert. For a moment, Nathan had no idea. Then he smiled and walked toward his sister’s sandbox. There was the second clue.
Disappointed, Nathan slowly walked back to his room.
