Peter was from Japan. Once he went to India for a visit. On the last day, he took a taxi to the airport.
On the way, a Honda car drove past the taxi. He saw it from the window and shouted excitedly, “Honda, very fast! Made in Japan!” After a while, a Toyota drove past the taxi. Again, he looked out of the window and shouted, “Toyota, very fast! Made in Japan!” And then a Mitsubishi drove past the taxi. For the third time, he looked out of the window and shouted, “Mitsubishi, very fast! Made in Japan!” The taxi driver was a little angry, but he said nothing. And this went on for quite a number of cars.
Finally, the taxi came to the airport. “800 rupees(卢比)!” said the driver.
Peter cried out, “What? It was a short ride. Why so much?”
Then the driver shouted back, “Meter(计价器), made in India. Very, very fast!”
