1.可数名词和不可数名词的计量方式。

（1）可数名词一般直接在其前加基数词表示计量。

There is also a golf course five miles away. 五英里外还有个高尔夫球场。

（2）可数名词前也可以用few、a few、many、a lot of、lots of、some、any、several、a（large/ great）、number of、a great many、plenty of、most等修饰词或短语来计量。

She has lived in Spain for many years. 她在西班牙已经生活多年。

（3）有些可数名词复数也可以用由单位词构成的短语来计量。

My mother bought a basket of apples this morning. 我的妈妈今天上午买了一筐苹果。

（4）可以在不可数名词前加little、a little、much、a lot of、lots of、some、any、plenty of、a good/ great deal of、a bit of、most等修饰词或短语来计量。

There was much discussion about the reasons for the failure. 就失败的原因进行了大量的讨论。

I like some modern music. 有些现代音乐我喜欢。

（5）也可以在不可数名词前加量词来计量。常可用来对不可数名词计量的短语有：a piece of（一片/段/块……）、a cup/glass of（一杯……）、a bottle of（一瓶……）、a bag of（一袋……）、a box of（一盒……）等。

She wrote something on a small piece of paper. 她在一小片纸上写了点什么。

Let’s go and have a cup of coffee. 我们去喝杯咖啡吧。

2.对可数名词和不可数名词的提问方式。

（1）对可数名词的数量提问要用 how many。

I have two footballs. How many footballs do you have?

（2）对不可数名词的数量提问要用 how much。

There is some milk in the cup. — How much milk is there in the cup?

（3）但是若对计量不可数名词的量词的数量提问，仍然要用 how many。

There are two glasses of orange juice on the table. →How many glasses of orange juice are there on the table?
