Half of all people will have significant amounts of grey hair by the age of 50．If greying occurs before the age of 30, it is known as premature greying. Possible reasons for this happening:

·lack of protein and nutrients

·extreme mental and emotional stress

·lack of iron, copper, zinc, and Vitamin B12

“If you color your hair too often with strong chemicals and put them on scalps (头皮) that are still growing, the cells in your hair might get damaged. This can change how melanocytes (生黑色素细胞) work. In 2017, Irish President Michael D. As one can see, philosophy is alive and well in both the Republic of Ireland and the UK constituent country of Northern Ireland.

Ireland has traditionally been known as the Land of Saints and Scholars. In this edition of Philosophy Now, we’ll cast a cold eye on the state of philosophy past, present and future in the Emerald Isle, with a focus on Thomas Duddy’s idea, in his book A History of Irish Thought, that such an exploration must be both practical and creative.

This issue is dedicated to my late friend Seán Moran, a Philosophy Now writer and a modern Irish philosopher whom I met in Waterford many years ago, and whose humor, charm, and friendliness enriched my life. Like Tom Duddy, Seán died much too young. He demonstrated to me the true meaning of William Butler Yeats’s closing words from his poem ‘The Municipal Gallery Revisited’:

MyHeritage has announced the release of two new AI features which it promises will ‘revolutionise genealogy (系谱学)’ research, similar to how ChatGPT revolutionised searching the Internet.

The first feature, AI Record Finder^TM, is an interactive chatbot that helps family historians find relevant historical records about a person of interest within MyHeritage’s database of 20 billion records. This free-text chat tool enables users to talk to an intelligent assistant to find information about their ancestors, relatives, or other people who have passed away.

In addition to AI Record Finder^TM, MyHeritage has also introduced AI Biographer^TM, another innovative feature that automatically generates a narrative biography about an ancestor’s life using information from historical records that match the person. This creates a Wikipedia-like biography, which gives users a complete understanding of their ancestor’s life story.

These two new features are integrated, allowing MyHeritage users to create an AI Biography for their ancestors using the AI Record Finder^TM. With this integration, users can easily use a conversational AI to search for historical records. This makes it faster and easier to find information about their family members.

Astronomers have examined the stars that a new space telescope might target, to prepare for one of the most advanced searches for life on other planets. They found out which star systems might be more suitable to hunt for potential life.

In the 2040s, NASA plans to launch the Habitable Worlds Observatory(HWO). Its big goal is to image about 25 Earth-like planets in the habitable zones of sun-like stars-where water and even life could exist. Before building the HWO, scientists are working on significant challenges it will face.

One of those is choosing stars within around 100 light years from Earth that the telescope might target. Caleb Harada at the University of California, Berkeley, and his team analyzed 164 potential stars to determine their characteristics. These stars could become some of the most studied stars ever.

Harada and his team discovered that 102 of the stars are binaries(双子星), which could make the search for life more complex. The HWO telescope will use a tool to block out the stars’ light to attempt to image planets in orbit and study the gases in their atmospheres. “If binaries are too close together, the light from the unblocked star will be so bright that it’ll cover up the planets and make them hard to see,” explains Bruce Macintosh from the University of California Observatories.

Out of all the stars, 33 have dust rings that could make it hard to see planets clearly. “This makes exploring harder,” says Harada. “Some stars also sometimes burst into bright flames, like our sun’s flares, which aren’t always deadly. But we need to check closely that they’re not too strong, because these can affect life and living conditions,” explains Harada.
