We are now looking for people like you to answer coming phone calls from people who are excited after watching a commercial ad or hearing an ad on the radio, and call to inquire about a product or service. This is a legitimate (正当的) work from home opportunity providing customer service and generating sales for some of the largest commercial companies out there.

Peak Call Hours:

Calls are available 7 days a week. 24 hours a day. Peak call volume occurs on Saturday and Sunday between 6:00 am and 3:00 pm.

Required Certification:

After you apply and your agent account has been created, you will need to complete the LiveOps Call Center Certification. These are self-paced e-learning courses that take approximately 10 hours and must be completed within one week from account creation. Through free virtual classes you can access all the information you need to succeed, including product information and tips on how to generate sales and increase your earning potential.

Successful Independent Agents Will Have the Following Skills:

You’ll be excited, enthusiastic, and energetic. You’ll have the ability to meet the client’s sales goals. You’ll have the ability to multi-task. You are required to present a successful sales presentation. You are required to handle objections and negotiate a sale. You’ll have to use client-specific software and applications in order to serve customers. Previous care-related experience will be a great advantage for you.

The first six months I was married, I truly wanted to scream and pull my hair out. My husband and I really had some all-out battles about his parents (regarding finances, where we would live, religious issues, etc.). Unfortunately, he was completely oblivious to how I felt or that anything was truly wrong. When I was going through all of this with my husband, I really felt so alone. I thought I was crazy/selfish to feel that way and often blamed myself. At first, I called him a Mama’s Boy and told him I felt like I was a low priority to him. This, of course, did not go over well... so I changed my direction.

I’ve been married for three years now, and Jenna’s book played a big role in gaining my husband’s loyalty. I started out by making a decision that I would not berate (责怪) my husband for his family’s actions. After all, he can’t help what his relatives do, and to blame him for other people’s actions wouldn’t really be fair. Secondly, I made a resolution that I would NEVER let them create an argument or problem between my husband and me... this was really a groundbreaking moment for me. After all, it was in my power to control what items became issues in my marriage. I wouldn’t allow petty stuff his family did to upset our balance... that would just give them more power, control, and influence. This took a lot of time, but once my husband realized that I was taking the high road, he started listening to me more.

I promised “for better or for worse” and I decided not to let my in-laws make it worse. As a new bride, I had no idea what I was in for in terms of family management, and even now I take time to re-read certain sections from Jenna’s book periodically. It is taking time and patience to gain my husband’s loyalty, and it’s an ongoing process — but I think it’s well worth it.

Women in East Asia are putting tiny pegs into their nostrils so their nose could look more European. The beauty trend apparently started from South Korea about two years ago and has spread to Japan, Chinese mainland and Taiwan, where women with a pointier European nose are considered more attractive.

The beauty trend, however, has sparked serious health concerns. In a recent case from China, a woman reportedly swallowed a peg by accident and the small item was later found in her stomach.

The non-surgical nose-lifting trend apparently involves a set of tools which are popular on shopping websites in East and South-east Asia. A typical set consists of two small curved pegs, measuring two to three centimetres long, as well as one adjusting hook.

The most popular brand seems to come from South Korea, but various other copycat products have cropped up and sell for as little as 1 pound. According to the instructions online, users should first insert the two pegs into their nostrils respectively. The pegs are said to be made with silicone. Then they should use the hook to adjust the pegs so they stand in a 45-degree angle inside the nose. One seller on China’s popular shopping site, Taobao, claimed that because the product was invisible, it could be a woman’s secret weapon in getting a beautiful nose without surgery.

An advertisement posted by the seller said the product, said to be “anti-bacteria”, could change the shape of a nose in less than 10 seconds and is safe to use. However, potential customers are advised not to wear them for more than eight hours.

Although the nasal pegs are popular among beauty-conscious females, they have also brought health issues to the customers. Last November, a 25-year-old woman in Taipei nearly lost her nose after a peg poked through her nasal membrane and caused a bacterial infection, according to Apple Daily.

On Remembrance Day members of the armed forces (soldiers, sailors and airmen) are commemorated (纪念).

The other common name for this day is Armistice Day which marks the date and time when armies stopped fighting World War Ⅰ, on November 11th at 11am in 1918 (the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month). Some 100,000 Canadian soldiers died in the First and Second World Wars.

In Canada, Remembrance Day is a federal statutory (法定的) holiday — with a notable exception of Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories, Ontario and Quebec — as it is in many other countries in the world where this day is observed on the national level.

All government buildings fly the Canadian flag this day and people remember those who fought for Canada during a two-minute silence at 11am. Many people wear poppies before and on Remembrance Day to show their respect and support for Canadian troops. Poppies are generally handed out free but often a voluntary donation is given in exchange.

In the United States this day is called Veterans’ Day and is also observed on November 11th.

Should Remembrance Day be a state holiday in every province?

We continue to receive lots of messages from people all over the country who are outraged (气愤的) why Remembrance Day is not a state holiday everywhere in Canada. Indeed, it would make sense to make this a state holiday in every province and territory — even in Ontario. But not everyone agrees.
