Hello, everyone! I’m delighted to recommend my favorite book: Journey to the West to you, what is one of the four greatest Chinese classical novel. It was very popular with us Chinese people. The novel, wrote by Wu Cheng’en, is based Xuan Zangs journey to India. The story focuses on Monkey King called Sun Wukong, who helps her master Xuan Zang get over various difficulties on the journey. Because foreigners like you may find it difficulty to read the original classic, so I advise that you read some simplified versions. Some versions coming with many pictures and they are easy for you to understand. Hopefully you will fall in love with a great work.

There are too many classic literary works we should read that it’s hard to know where to start. Watch the movie version is certainly one way to get familiarly with a book. Beside requiring less time, the movie version usually gives you most of the important plots and character informations. It may also helps you decide if the book is worth reading it. Reading the original books is completely different. With far more character and plot details, it allows you appreciate the beauty of the language in the book. As for which is better, it depends on that you need. If you just want to get the story, watch the movie version; for the more complete experience, the book version is definitely better.
One day, I was walking past the notice board of our school when a small sign caught my eye. It advertises a book club. I was very interesting in reading, so I decided join it. After calling the phone number on the sign and talk to the organizer, I was allowed to go to the next meeting, a few days late. This was not a ordinary book club. Each member should bring his choice of books. The one rule was that the choices must be books that wasn’t from classes. So there were biography, history books, travel books, and so on. It turned out to be the most interesting club I’ve ever joined!

Why I like Cao’s books because he writes beautiful about the life stories of children facing great challenges. So touching stories are they that even adults find worth reading. Cao’s work have sold millions of copies in China. In recently years Cao’s books have gained popularity around the world. In the morning of April 4, he becomes the first Chinese to ever win the Hans Christian Andersen Prize 2016.

My favourite English novel is Pride and Prejudice, which author is Jane Austen. In this novel, there is a girl called Lizzy and rich gentleman named Mr. Darcy. At first, they don't like each other, especially Lizzy. She thinks Mr. Darcy is rather proud and had done something cruel, so she hates Mr. Darcy. Thus, Mr. Darcy, somehow, falls in love about her and proposes to her. To her surprise, Lizzy refuses, because she has made up her mind that she will never marry with a man no matter how rich he is unless she truly loves him. Later, Lizzy realizes what Mr. Darcy is very kind and not proud at all. She hates him just due to her prejudice. Maybe you can guess the end of this novel: they get marry and lead a happy life.
It's said that Pride and Prejudice is the most popular English novel in the world. If you haven't read it, I strong recommend it to you.

My favourite novel is The Little Prince. It is an easy book to read and its lessons are difficult to understand. The book shows that everyone can be a adult, but few people are actually grown-up. In the story, the little prince believes he is the most uniquely person in the universe, so he travels to different planets prove it. The truth disappoints him but allow him to realize who he really is. The Little Prince teaches us the solution to become a grown-up is to put ourselves outside us comfort zone. Then we will realize we were rarely the people who we think of we are. The Little Prince tells us it is our hearts and faith which help us see the world clearly.
