The two-week Harvard Pre-College Program is an intense and exciting experience of the college life. The admission committee is now looking for mature, academically motivated students who will graduate from high school and enter college in 2022.
The Course Experience
With over 30 courses to choose from, you're sure to find a topic that interests you. Although courses are non-credit and do not have letter grades, you need to attend the class in its entirety. When class is not in session, you can participate in creative and social activities. At the end of the program, you'll receive a written evaluation from your instructor, as well as a transcript(成绩单).

How to Apply
Complete an online application and provide supplemental(补充的)materials, including:
·The $75 non-refundable application fee.
·Transcripts from 9th grade to fall 2021 grades: This can include progress reports, report cards, and educational summaries from your high school.
·If English is not your native language, submit scores from the TOEFL IBT or IELTS language proficiency exam along with your application.
Cost &Aid
The total fee for a Harvard Pre-College Program 2022 session is $ 4,950. The program fee includes tuition, room and board, and activity costs for the full two weeks. There is also a non-refundable $ 75 application fee and $100 health insurance.
A limited number of scholarships are available to assist students who demonstrate financial need. Awards vary based on need, and a typical award covers part of the tuition.

If your application is unsuccessful, we will inform you by email. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide personal feedback due to the great number of applications that we receive.
If the course is fully booked and your application is successful, we will add your name to a waiting list.
Application deadlines
Applications will be assessed by the RCA course team every two weeks or until the course is fully booked. We will inform all applicants by email within two weeks after they submit an application. Participants are advised to apply early to avoid disappointment as places are strictly limited.

We offer different kinds of classes to you all. A very popular class we are offering these 10 days is the class named “DIY Your Own Desserts”.
Can you imagine how happy your beloved one will be when you give him/her your DIY desserts on the special days like birthday. Mother’s Day and Father’s Day? Come to our class and make your own desserts. Give your beloved one some surprises!
The class runs daily and it is a completely hands-on personal cooking experience lasting up to 4 hours learning 3-4 recipes (食谱) each lesson. The teacher will first show how to cook different recipes in front of you. And then he will guide you on how to prepare and make the food.
At the end of the class you can either eat the meal prepared during the class or take it home with you. What’s more, you’ll be able to take home the copies of all the recipes.
Costs: $30 each lesson. You can start at any time.

The Community Center is offering adult summer classes again this year.The schedule(时间表)includes classes in basic computer skills,painting,drawing,and dance.
Registration
There are two ways to register for classes:
Go to our website:www.cc.org/classes/summerschedule. Click on “Class Descriptions”to see a full listing of the classes this summer.Decide which class or classes you are interested in.
Then click on “Register Now” and a registration form will appear.Complete the form and work out the amount of money you should pay for your classes.This will include the cost of your classes plus a $15 registration fee(费用).Any material fees will be payable to the instructor on the first day of class.In addition,if your address is outside of the city,you will pay an additional fee of $25 per class.
Fill in your credit card(信用卡)information and click “Send Now”.You will receive registration confirmation by email.
If you do not have access to a computer,you can call the Community Center at 8725555068 to request a class schedule and registration form.Choose your classes from the schedule,complete the form,and return it by mail with your credit card information.
Withdrawal(退学)Policy
Full refunds(退款),minus(减去)the $25 registration fee,will be given for any withdrawals made up to one week before the class begins.Withdrawals made before the start of the second class will receive a 50 percent refund,minus the registration fee.No refunds will be made after the start of the second class.
Classes offered by the Community Center are for adults only.You must be eighteen years of age or older to participate.Classes for children and teens are offered through the City Department of Recreation.

Walking Line
EGG Gallery is proud to announce that during this year’s Beijing Gallery Week, it will present artist Zhu Lan’s solo exhibition “Walking Line”. This exhibition will introduce her new works in recent years. When looking at Zhu Lan’s works, aside from the fascination of the paintings themselves, the viewers are able to feel the process of creation.
