Reading is my favorite hobby. I can never stop the love for read because books are like wise teachers as well as good friends in my life. As we all know, books are the source of knowledges. I benefit a great deal of from reading. There is a variety of books for us to choose from, like history books, science books, literary books and so on. But which interests me most is literary books, especial those written by famous writers. For one thing, they helped to improve my writing skills and broaden my horizons. For other, they can enrich my life and provide us with great fun. Isn't it pleasure to have great calm in mind while reading?

My interest has been in books instead of in food since I went to a high school. In the past I was real interested in all kinds of food. In summer day I liked to buy ice creams and cold drinks, while in winter I like to buy sweets and some other food. Whenever I went for walk with my parents I would ask him to buy me something. However, after I went to high school, I found I was putting on weight. So, I gave up the habit of eat and began to spend money with all kind of books. Now my parents is always complained that I am a money spender!

I know that the library is a wonderful thing but something we really should take advantage of. I go to the library near my home at least twice of a week in the past. However, because of my extreme busy schedule, it has been more than two year since my last library visit. How I miss the days I spent in the library read the books I loved! As you know, there is no friend so faithfully as a good book. I do enjoy the quiet atmosphere in the library, which makes me absorbing in my reading. This is time that I went to the library. If you fond of reading, be a frequent visitor to the library.

Reading novels are one of my hobbies. When reading a novel, I can imagine the world create by the author. I like to think of me as part of the novel. It feels like that I witness all the events. I am especially fond of go through short novels because long novels usually take a long time to finish than short ones. I am now a senior high school student. I need to devote my time and energy to preparing myself the College Entrance Examination. And my teachers often strong advise me and many of my classmate not to spare much time for novels. I understand their good intention but have followed their advice. I need to learn to be in the control of my time.
