Last Monday, when I was taken a walk with my mother, I noticed some litter on the sidewalk. I knew it was time to take action. So on our way to home, we decided to do some clean-up work. I took a picker and my mother hold a big rubbish bag. Together they did litter pickup on the sidewalk. I was surprising that the bag filled up so quick. Then we threw it into the roadside dustbin but repeated the process two more time. It gave us a sense of satisfaction to know we did which we could for Mother Earth. We thought of doing this on a regular basis, maybe once month.

When I was in primary school, I watched a movie about global warming. See the images of ice melting and the polar bears habitat being destroyed made me disappointed. I begin to realize it was important to do what we can save the environment. I asked my mom to buy a blue recycling bin. And she immediate agreed to get it. At a store yesterday, a mom in the front of me left her wallet in her car. As she’d just chosen a cupcake, I decided to paying for her. However, she was already holding her baby but walking out the door. While the cashier was ringing my purchases up, I regret not helping that mom. Suddenly, I realized I could still do it. I asked the cashier to ring up her cupcake with that I had chosen, and by the time the mom got back, the cupcake was waiting her. She burst into tear immediately and I got the best hug. Last month, I had a valuable experience working like a volunteer in the community hospital. I worked from July 15 to July 31, when elderly over 55 were given freely medical examinations. Every day I arrive early and organized the people who came over. Then I would help him fill in the forms. Lead them to the different departments was also one of my duty. Everyone there worked in a tight schedule. By the time their examinations were over, I was already bathing in sweat. Tired though I was, but I benefited a lot from the experience as I built up my confident and improved my communication skills.
