Last weekend Jimmy and Paul went camping on the mountain. It was really exciting and they _______ a good time there. On Saturday morning, they arrived there early and then they went for a walk. Then he looked out of the tent and saw a strange creature (生物).

It was green and very small. It asked Jimmy and Paul _______ to its spaceship (宇宙飞船). There they met other strange creatures. They sat down at a table and ate _______ strange food. Jimmy dank a cup of juice. It tasted like apple juice and he asked for another _______ of it.

“No! It’s not true,” Jimmy shouted to Paul. When he opened his eyes, he found it was only a dream.

Hello, I’m Grace. Let me tell you something about my community (社区). It is beautiful and quiet. My house is next to a new building on Green Street. My best friend Betty lives in that building. There is a clean and big park across from Betty’s building. I often go to the park to play football.

There is a music school in my community. I go there to learn to play the piano every Saturday afternoon. It’s across from a bank. Is there a supermarket in my community? Of course, there is. It’s between the park and the music school. Betty’s mother is an assistant (店员) there. My favorite place in the community is the library. It’s next to the music school. It’s across from an old post office. My mother works in the post office.

Tony went to Japan with some of his classmates last month. He wrote about the trip in his travel report.     31    

The trip to Japan was great. We stayed there for ten days.

When we got to the airport (机场), it was too hot and humid (潮湿的).     32    

We visited Yokohama Boys High School. It was a little far from the airport, so we went there by bus. The school and the students there gave us a warm welcome.     33    

Our host family were also helpful and friendly. They cooked us meals and took us out for dinner.     34     The concerts were really great.

In Japan, many people take the bus.     35     Some people take the train. When I took a train, I found something different from the train in New Zealand—the seats in the train were facing inwards (向内).
