In the USA, about 450,000 school buses take more than 25 million children to and from school. The yellow school bus is a US icon (象征). Yellow became the color of the school buses in the US in 1939. Dr. Frank got the good idea. He said it was easy for people to see yellow buses and letters on them in early morning or late afternoon. That would make children safer.

There are not many school buses in Britain, and they are not yellow. They have trackers (追踪器) on them so kids are being tracked while they travel to and from school by bus. The trackers let parents know where the school bus is and whether their kids are on the bus.

Going to Kindergarten (幼儿园) is a difficult time for some kids. It’s the first time for them to go away from their parents. To make kids love their school, Japanese kindergartens and schools have colorful buses. The buses can easily make children want to take them—and then, go to school. Even some parents want to take them, too!

School buses are becoming more and more popular in China now. It saves a lot of time for students to take a school bus.

Mozart was born on January 27, 1756 and died on December 5, 1791. When he was three, he often had music lessons with his elder sister. His father took him around many different countries, where he played music for lots of people.

But some people didn’t believe that a little boy could write such beautiful music. They asked him to stay in a room all by himself for a week and somebody watched the room all the time. In the week, he finished a new piece of music. After that, people believed that he could write beautiful music.

Mozart died when he was still a young man. During his short life he studied music, taught music, played music and wrote music. Even by working so hard, he couldn’t make much money. Often he had to borrow money from his friends. But his music made him happy and for more than two hundred years his music has made other people happy, too.

Jack went to visit his friends in Paris last Friday. They ate dinner at a Chinese restaurant and went to the movie after that.

Jack and his friends drove to a farm on Saturday morning. They rode the horse and enjoyed a big meal. Then they sang and danced till the midnight.

Jack and his friends got up late on Sunday morning. When they got back to Paris, it was three o’clock in the afternoon. They drove directly to the airport (机场), because Jack’s plane back home was at four o’clock. Jack only stayed with his friends for two days, but he had a great time with them.

In the end, we had to leave and take our things to a hotel. There weren’t any rooms free, so they let us sleep in the dinning room. The next morning, it was sunny again. But our tent wasn’t there again. The wind blew it away at night.

We can’t listen to music or eat in the classroom. We even can’t wear hats or have long hair. We have to wear school uniforms every day.
