The next day I woke up with the sun on my face. But when I tried to get up, I found it was impossible. Every part of my hair and clothes was tied (捆绑) to the ground. I could not move!
“What’s happening?” I asked myself.
Then I felt something on my leg. It was moving up my leg and moving on my body. I looked down. I couldn’t believe my eyes! A tiny man, no more than fifteen centimeters tall, was standing on my chest! Then there was another and then another. Lots of tiny people were standing on me. Where was I? Who were these people?
“Hekinah degul,” the first one shouted. What did it mean? I had no idea.
“Hekinah degul. Hekinah degul,” the others repeated after him.
I shouted so loudly that they all ran away.
I then made my left arm free. But soon the tiny people came back. This time they had bows and arrows (弓箭) and I knew that they wanted to hit me. Hundreds of tiny arrows hit my hand and face. I made a sign to show them that I gave in and the arrows finally stopped.
After lying for a while, I realized that I was very hungry. I put my fingers slowly to my mouth to show that I wanted food. The tiny people seemed to understand and they brought me lots to eat and drink. I fell asleep again almost immediately.

A group of swans flew down to a beach. There was a crow (乌鸦) jumping around. The crow watched them and looked down on them.
“You have no flying skills at all!” he said to the swans. “All you can do is to move your wings. Can you turn over in the air? No, that’s not for you. Let’s have a flying competition. I’ll show you what real flying is!”
One of the swans took up the challenge. The crow flew up and began to show his skills. He flew in circles, did other flying tricks, and then came down and looked at the swan proudly.
Now it was the swan’s turn. He flew up, and began flying over the sea. The crow flew after him, making all kinds of comments (评价) about his flying. They flew on and on till they couldn’t see the land and there was nothing but water on all sides. The crow was making fewer and fewer comments. He was now so tired that he found it hard to stay in the air, and had to try to keep himself from falling into the water.
The swan said, “Why do you keep touching the water, brother? Is that another trick? “
“No,” said the crow. He knew he had lost the competition. “I’m in trouble because of my pride (骄傲) ! If you don’ t help me, I’ll lose my life…”
The swan took pity on him, and took him on his shoulders and flew back to the beach.
