Do you like to play spelling games? The PM’S Spelling Bee is welcome. It’s a game for students to spell English words (词). On the computer, there are 30 words. Students spell one word in 25 seconds (秒) and then they can get one point (得分).

9-year-old Declan Lee is in Grade 3. Spelling is easy for him, but the game can be difficult. Why? Declan can’t see. His teacher, Carolyn Jones, reads the words to him in the game. And then he spells them. He gets 22 points!

Vanessa Wong is 9 years old and in Grade 4. In the PM’S Spelling Bee, Vanessa gets 30 points. “I’m happy I can spell the words,” Vanessa says. “I’m happy for Milla Whiteley, too. She’s my friend and in my class. She gets 30 points, too!”

Hamish Tweedale is a student in Grade 8. 13-year-old Hamish loves science. He has many science books and knows words from them. In the spelling game, Hamish gets 30 points. “I know Hamish can spell the 30 words!” Hamish’s father Geoff is very happy.
