But do they want to go back home? The dolphin in this picture might be able to help them go back to the ocean.

Edge Innovations, a US company (公司), has made a lifelike robotic dolphin (机器海豚). It acts and sounds like a real dolphin. It doesn’t eat and doesn’t get sick. The robotic dolphin weighs about 270 kilograms and can be controlled (控制) by people. It is powered by a battery (电池) and can swim for 10 hours every time. The company hopes these dolphins will take the place of (代替) real dolphins in ocean parks.

In fact, animal lovers are worried about the results of keeping wild animals in parks. The animals have to perform (表演) for visitors many times a day. People around the world are doing more to protect wild animals. Parks and circuses (马戏团) in 20 countries cannot have wild animal shows anymore. For example, ocean parks in France won’t have dolphin shows in the future. Animal rights groups say this is a “great success”. Dolphins will be free soon.
