“I want to get to North Inlets.” I said. Israel Hands agreed to give me help, and in three minutes, the Hispaniola was sailing easily along the coast of Treasure Island. I then found a scarf to help Hands tie up the knife wound in his leg. After eating and drinking, he sat up and looked better.

Israel Hands was very good at guiding me. Then we turned into the harbour.

When I turned around, surprised to see Hands was standing behind me, his knife in hand ready. I jumped away and ran down the deck. It surprised me how quickly he could move with his wounded leg. I quickly climbed up the ropes and prepared both my guns. Hands climbed slowly and painfully after me, his knife in his mouth.

“One more move, Mr Hands,” I said, “and I’ll kill you!” Suddenly, one of his hands went back, and a knife flew through the air. I felt a sharp pain. But both of my guns fired, and fell into the sea together with Israel Hands.
