I have many friends. They have different favorite subjects. Tom’s favorite subject is art because he likes drawing pictures a lot. Peter’s favorite subject is computer because he thinks computer can help him a lot in his study. He is a computer fan. He likes playing computer games very much, and he is good at playing them. Lucy likes Chinese because her mother is Chinese. Her mother teaches her Chinese at home. She loves China. John thinks science is very interesting. So he likes science best.

Grace is a student of a middle school. She is a good student. She usually gets up at six in the morning. Then she has breakfast.    31    Her mother takes her to school in the car. It takes about half an hour to drive there.

The first class begins at seven thirty.     32    She has lunch at school at twelve o’clock. She often has rice and vegetables for lunch because it’s her favorite food.     33    

In the afternoon, classes begin at half past one.     34     She gets home at about five fifteen and has dinner at six.     35    At about nine thirty, she goes to bed.

Tommy is from America, but now he is in China with his parents. We’re good friends. We often do our homework together. His favorite subject is math, but my favorite subject is geography. So he often helps me and I often help him. We like art. We can draw well. We are in our school art club. We go to the art club on Thursdays. He says he likes the club and he wants to make more Chinese friends. He speaks Chinese very well. But he says he wants to learn more Chinese because he wants to know more about Chinese culture (文化).

Tim is a middle school student. He goes to school from Monday to Friday. (1) He gets up at 6:30 in the morning. After a quick breakfast, he walks to school with his classmates. Classes start at 8:00. He has four classes in the morning and three in the afternoon. On Monday morning, he has art. It’s his favorite subject. On Tuesday and Thursday, he has science. (2) He doesn’t like science, because he thinks it’s difficult and boring. On Friday, he has geography. He can’t stand (忍受) it at all. But he likes Friday best, because the next day is Saturday. On weekends, after he does his homework, he often goes to the park with his parents. And they always have a good time there.

I have a good time at my new school, Wenfeng Middle School. Here the life is busy but interesting.
