Life comes in a package. This package includes happiness and sadness, failure and success, hope and despair. Life is a learning process. Experiences in life teach us new lessons and make us a better person. With each passing day we learn to deal     1     kinds of situations.

Love     2     an important role in our life. Love makes you feel wanted. Without love a person could become cruel. In the early stage of our life, our parents are the ones who show us with unconditional love and care, they teach us about what is right and wrong, good and bad. But we always tend to take this for granted (认为理所应当). It is     3     after marriage and having kids that a person understands and becomes sensitive to others’ feelings.

Happiness achieved by bringing a smile on other’s face gives a certain level of achievement. Peace of mind makes you feel happy. No mind is happy without peace. A girl was working as a nurse in a hospital. Peterson was sitting at the door of his house. A man asked him, “What are the people in this village like?”

“Why do you ask so?” Peterson asked. The man answered, “The people in my village aren’t friendly at all. I     1     them, so I left. Now, I want to find a new village to     2    .”

Peterson said, “If so, you’d better keep going. People in this village are even     3     and you’ll get into trouble here.” Hearing this, the man moved on.

Campbell Remess is a teenager from Australia. He has been sewing (缝制) teddy bears for sick children for several years.

But his parents said no, because with nine children of their own, buying presents for sick children     2     too much. The little boy didn’t give up, however.
