Life comes in a package. This package includes happiness and sadness, failure and success. Life is a learning process. Experiences in life teach us new lessons and make us a better person.

Love     1       in our life. Love makes you feel wanted. In the early stage of our life, our parents are the ones who show us love and care. They teach us about what is right and wrong, good and bad. But we don’t always care about it. It is only after we     2       and have kids that a person understands others’ feelings.

Happiness can bring people a peaceful mind. Sadness is     3       the death of a loved one or the failure. But all of these things will     4    .

Failure is the path to success. It helps us to touch the sky, teaches us to survive and shows us a specific way. Life teaches us not to     5       over yesterday. So the only way is to work hard today so that we will enjoy a better tomorrow.

There were three small fish living in the sea. Their parents died. So they have to look     1     each other every day. Finally, they grew up and were able to swim anywhere they wanted.

One day, a big wave (浪潮) took them to a shallow (浅的) water. The waves took a small boat there, too. It was     2     for the fish to go back to the sea because the boat was just in front of them. The largest fish knew they were in great danger, and said they had to find a way to leave there as     3     as possible. The second largest fish agreed with his elder brother,     4     the youngest one didn’t. He thought there were     5     water for them,     6     he didn’t worry at all and still swam around.

At last, the largest fish tried his best to jump over the boat and got back to the sea. The second largest fish also     7     his elder brother in the other side of water. But the youngest one didn’t follow them and still swam     8    .

Two hours     9    , when the sun came up, the shallow water dried up (干了) .The fish wasn’t able to get back to the sea. He died in the end because he couldn’t live     10     water.

A passenger told an air hostess (空姐) that he needed a glass of water     1     his medicine just then the plane took off. She told him that she would bring him the water in 10 min.

The air hostess was so busy that she forgot about his water. So the passenger had to wait     2     to take his medicine. Thirty minutes later, the passenger     3     his service bell and the air hostess hurried to him with a glass of water, but he refused it     4    .

Over the next few hours, each time the air hostess passed     5     the passenger, she would ask him with a smile if he needed something. But the passenger never paid attention to (理睬) her.

When he was going to get off the plane, the passenger asked the air hostess to hand him the passengers’ booklet (手册). She was very     6     because she thought that he would write something bad about her,     7     still she handed it to him with a     8    .

After he was off the plane, she opened the booklet and smiled. The passenger wrote, “On the flight, you smiled and asked me 12     9     if I needed help.     10     could I refuse your sincere smiles?”

Tom and Jerry were neighbors. Tom was poor, but Jerry was very rich. Jerry always closed all the doors and windows at night. He did not sleep     1    . He was worried that someone took his money,     2     Tom was never. One day, Jerry gave Tom a box of money, and said, “I am very rich, but you are poor. Take this money and buy     3     you want.” Tom was very happy, at night, he closed the doors and windows, but he still could not sleep. He     4     looking at the box of money     5     next day. Next morning, Tom gave the box back to Jerry. “Dear friend,” he said to Jerry, “Your money took away my peace. Please take your money back. I’m sorry.”

The bell rang. The teacher stood before his class and was going to     1     the final exam papers. “I know how hard you have all worked to prepare for this test,” he said. “And because I know you can do it well, I am willing to offer a B to anyone who would     2     not to take the test.”

Many students jumped up to thank the teacher and left the classroom. The teacher looked at the remaining (剩余的) students and said, “Does anybody else want to get a B? This is your last     3    .” Two more students decided to go.

Seven students remained (留下). The teacher then gave out the papers. There were     4     three sentences typed on the paper: Congratulations! You have just been received an A in this class. Keep believing in yourself.

I never had a teacher like that,     5     I think it is a test that any teacher could and should give. Students who do not have confidence（自信）in what they have learned are B students     6    .

The same is true in real life. The A students are those who believe in what they are doing because they have learned from both successes and failures. They have learned life’s     7    , either from normal education or from events in their lives, and have become better people.
