【推荐1】On a Friday night, a poor young artist stood at the gate of the New York railway station, playing his violin. The music was so great that many people stopped to put some money into the hat of the young man.

The next day, the young artist came to the same place, and put his hat on the ground gracefully. Different from the day before, he took out a large piece of paper and laid it under his hat. Then he began to play the violin. It sounded more pleasant than ever. Soon he was surrounded(包围) with people who were attracted by the words on that paper. Dear World,

My son starts school today. It’s going to be strange and new to him for a while, and I wish you would be nice to him. You see, until now, I have always been around to take care of him and make him feel better. But now, things are going to be different.

This morning, he is going to walk down the front steps himself, say goodbye and start a new journey that will be difficult and challenging (有挑战的). To live his life in the world will require faith, love and courage. So, World, I wish you would take him by his hand and teach him the things he needs to know.
