After being a backup crew member（备份乘组成员）for about 25 years, Chinese astronaut Deng Qingming has     1     achieved his space dream. He carried out his first space mission（任务）with two     2     astronauts on the Shenzhou 15 spaceship.

The name of Deng, 56 years old, was not known to many people until China sent the Shenzhou 13 spaceship in October last year.     3     he was a backup for many years, he still followed his space dream. His story touched many people.

Deng was     4     in a farming family in East China’s Jiangxi Province. He has four     5     brothers and sisters. As a hard-working student, he joined the People’s Liberation Ammy Air Force（中国人民解放军空军）in June 1984. Then he got into a fighter jet regiment（战斗机团）in Jilin Province in November 1987. He became one of our     6     first group of 14 astronauts in 1998.

In the following years, Deng spent almost all of his time     7    . He     8     very hard to take every chance to fly into space. No matter how difficult road to space was, Deng never thought of     9     up.

The day that every Chinese had looked forward to finally came. On September 17th, after going through a hard time, the Shenzhou-12 manned spacecraft (载人飞船) came back to earth.
