Rick is a     1     man. He gets up late in the morning. He has a big     2     every morning. He has some meat, three     3     four eggs and some pieces of bread. He drinks two glasses of milk, some apple     4    , a cup of coffee and eats some fruit. His wife, Vicky,     5     a cup of tea, a piece of bread and a banana     6     breakfast. Rick doesn’t do any ball games     7     he likes listening to the music     8    watching TV and he doesn’t do any housework. Vicky does sports every day. In fact, she is in a swimming club.     9     she is very     10    .

Everyone in the neighborhood was busy. Ben’s dad was putting     1     of wood over the windows while his mom was making sure the flashlights and radio     2     working. She also put some candles and     3     on the table.

Ben was helping his mom make dinner when the rain began to beat     4     against the windows. After dinner, they tried to play a card game, but it was hard to have fun     5     a serious storm happening outside.

Ben could not sleep at first. He finally fell asleep when the wind was     6     down at around 3:00 a.m. When he     7     up, the sun was     8    . He went outside with his family and found the neighborhood in a mess.     9     trees, broken windows and rubbish were everywhere.
