Hello, I’m Diana. I’m 14 years old. I’m very     1     to tell you about my school life.

Now I’m a middle school     2    . Every morning, I get up at 6:00. Then I have an egg, a glass of milk and some bread     3    . I have six classes every day—four classes in the morning and two classes     4    .

My favorite subject is math. It is difficult,     5     I’m still (仍然) interested in it, because I like my math teacher, Mr. Smart. He is     6    . All my classmates like him.

Our classes     7     at 4:00 p. m. After that, my mother asks me to have a soccer class     8    . I don’t like soccer. I think it’s for boys.

After dinner, I read books. Mom says reading books can help me to be a good girl.

   Team Talk is a radio station in our school and I work for it. Every morning, we tell students about the weather and the     1     news. Sports news is the students’     2    . In the afternoon, we usually read some beautiful poems or play some popular music. So it’s a fun time for many students to     3     best wishes to their friends and teachers     4     our station. Sometimes, we tell the students important notices and messages. When the test time comes, we tell the students     5     to go over the lessons. We also do     6     with some students. They can tell     7     problems to the presenter. Later they will get     8     from other students in the school. My best friend Jenny is a British exchange student from London. She came to Beijing last year. She has changed a lot since she came here. Now let me give you a general     1     of her changes.

Jenny used to be a shy girl. Her face would turn red when she made a speech in public. She used to keep     2     in class. She was afraid to put up her hand     3     she knew the answer to a question. She wasn’t interested in some of her     4    , and at times, she was absent     5     classes. And at school, she had     6     friends.

I asked her     7     she wanted to be an exchange student. She told me that she wanted to improve     8     and she was interested in Chinese language and culture. She hoped to become a popular girl. This was     9     what her parents wanted to see.

Now Jenny gets on well with her new students and classmates. She has     10     with her shyness and quietness. She has become an outgoing, humorous and helpful girl. Her parents are so happy to hear how much she has changed.
