When people talk about air pollution, they are usually thinking about outdoor air pollution. But do you know that there is also air pollution inside homes, offices, hotels and other buildings? The air in your home can be 2 to 100 times more polluted than the air outdoors!     1     (事实上) , some     2     (America) doctors say that 50% of the illnesses have something to do with the polluted indoor air.

The Yangtze River is China’s mother river. On December 26th, 2020, China passed the Yangtze River Protection Law, which has     1     (take) effect since March 1st, 2021. It is the first law to     2     /prəˈtekt/ a waterway in China.
