When Laura saw her school dining hall throw away food that was not eaten at all every day, she came up with an idea. She started a project to help her school dining hall to give away uneaten food to homeless shelters (庇护所) in her community. In the past three years, the same project has spread to other schools and some fast food restaurants throughout the city. The project is called Feed & Find, and has already fed thousands of people in her city.
How does it work? Through an app, Feed & Find matches local homeless shelters with school dining halls and restaurants that have uneaten food to provide. When dining halls or restaurants have uneaten food left, they can use the app to share the information about the food. A truck driver working for the project is then sent to pick it up and take it to a shelter.
Pretty cool, right? It’s not surprising that people in other cities have got in touch with Laura, hoping that she could have develop similar projects for their communities.
Some people, however, have concerns about the safety of the uneaten food. They think such food may not be clean enough. Still, this project is a clever way to help solve the problem of food waste and it helps those in need.

Some research has shown that 80 percent of all human illness are connected with diet and 40 percent of cancer is connected with the diet as well. Food is connected with illness is not a new discovery. In the 1940s scientists realized that nitrates(硝酸盐), which are often used to keep color of meat, and other additives(添加剂)caused cancer. However, these additives remain in our food and it becomes more difficult to know which additives are helpful or harmful. Farmers sometimes give drugs(药)to animals not because the animals are ill but because they want to sell the animals at higher prices. For example, farmers try hard to make animals grow big so that they can sell he big animals for more money. Although the Food and Drug Administration has tried again and again to control farmers to do so, farmers go on doing this.

In the summer of 2020, the first three episodes (集) of an animated series called Fog Hills of Five Elements (《雾山五行》) surprised animation fans with their special art style. The series mixes traditional ink painting with a modern design. The series was highly welcomed and got high ratings (评分).
The series was made by animation studio Samsara, which was started by Lin Hun. It uses ink wash painting (水墨画), a traditional style of painting in China. The series’ characters are painted in thick and striking (不同寻常的) ink lines. In the background (背景), clouds and fog can be seen among mountains and rivers.
Lin is a big fan of paintings like A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains (《千里江山图》), which was painted by Wang Ximeng of the Song Dynasty (960-1279). Lin was also inspired (启发) by the paintings of Zhang Daqian (1899-1983), a famous painter known for his “splash-ink-and-color” technique (发墨发彩画法).
Lin and his team tried other styles before deciding on ink wash painting. “This is the style we all love. It can show our taste and keep traditional culture,” Lin told Bilibili.
However, the ink wash style takes a lot of time to paint. Animators paint all of the backgrounds and characters by hand. They spent four years making the first three episodes. The studio has only six staff members because it has been hard to find animators who can paint in this style.
Still, they are looking for more animators to join them as fans wait for future episodes. “As long as they are of high quality, I hope to see updates (更新) as soon as possible,” one viewer wrote on Douban. TEENS

For individuals, it’s important to realize the importance of protecting personal information. If it’s not necessary, don’t agree to share personal information. If you find that your personal information has been used illegally, you can report to cyberspace(网络)administrations(管理机构)with evidence.
For companies or platforms, they can only handle personal information when there is a specific purpose. They need to make sure the information is under strict protection. Phipps found that worriers who stress the most are likely to sleep in the feta(胎儿的) position. He found this is the most common bedtime position. People sleep on their side with knees up and head down. The more we curl up, the more comfort we want.
The second is the log(树干型). People sleep with a straight body, with arms at each side. People often feel harder to move their body when they wake up. “The longer you sleep like this, the more rigid your thinking is and you don’t expect any changes to your life.”said Phipps.
Yearner(渴望型) sleepers are the next. People sleep on their side putting arms out straight, looking as if they are chasing(追逐) their dreams. “Yearners are always expecting the best results.” explained Phipps. “These people often wake up refreshed and they are willing to face the challenges of the day ahead.”
The freefaller position is perhaps the strangest. People sleep face down on the stomach. “These people,” he said, “feel like they have little control over their life.” Not only is this the strangest sleeping style, but also least comfortable, and people may wake up feeling tired and have no energy.
At last, Phipps has only one more thing to add, “A good sleep sets us up for the following day and our sleeping positions can decide how we feel when we wake up.”
