I like reading in my free time. I     1     read all kinds of classics(名著) written by many famous writers from all over the world. But I like Xu Zhimo best.

Xu was born in     2     big family. When Xu was young, he was interested in reading. Fables(寓言) and novels     3     his favorites. He loved reading very much, so he often forgot to eat and sleep. He thought books were his treasure.

When Xu was about six years old, he began     4     write some stories. He kept practicing writing and did better and better. But he still kept on reading,     5     he always believed “reading makes a full man.”
