Li Ming and Wang Ying are two student of Senior Three． They both work hard but they have similar learning methods． Li Ming often sleeps in class instead of listen to the teachers． As result， he misses lots of points that the teachers make and it usually takes him more time to finish his homework． So he has to stay up lately and doesn't get enough sleep． However， Wang Ying has quite a different way of learning． She listens attentively and tries to catch everything that the teachers say in class． Because this， she spends more time doing her homework， which makes it possible for her go to bed early． In my opinion， Wang Ying learns more careful in class and has more free time to enjoy herself， so I prefer to her learning method．
Last year, I did not like my English class. Every class like a bad dream. The teacher spoke so quickly I did not understand her most of the time. I was afraid to ask questions because my poor pronunciation. I just hid behind my text book and never said anything.
Then one day I watched an English movie called Toy Story. I fall in love with this exciting and funny movie! So I began to watch other English movies, too. Although I could not understand everything the characters said, their body language and the expression on their faces helped me to get the meaning. I also realized I could get the means by listening to the conversations in English movies. I discovered that listening to something interesting is the secret of language learning. I also learned useful sentences like “It’s a piece of cake”or “It serves you right”. I did not understand these sentences at first. But because I wanted to understand the story, I looked them in a dictionary.
Now I learn new words and more grammar so I can have a good understanding of English movies.

Stonehenge ----Can anyone explain why it is there?
Stonehenge, a rock circle, is not only one of britain’s most famous historical places but also one of its greatest mystery. Every year it received more than 750000 visitors. People like to go to this place especially in June as they want to see the sun rise on the longest day of the year.
For many years , historians believed Stonehenge was a temple where ancient leaders tried to communicate the gods. However, historian Paul Stoker thinks this can’t be true because Stonehenge built so many centuries ago. “The leaders arrived in England more later ,” he points out.

When I was a baby, my parents often gave me a hug, took me to play on the vegetable garden and took many photo of me, because they cared about my safety and kept me away from any hurt. While I was growing up, they give me more and more “love”, and I thought it began to hurt me. When I was student, they often told me many rules. For example, I wasn’t allowed to use me mobile phone.
