This park celebrates the history of the Pueblo people in southwestern United States.Visitors will find over 4,000 historical sites here, including 600 cliff dwellings (悬崖屋). Some of the best cliff dwellings, such as Cliff Palace and Balcony House, require the tickets for guided tours. These cliff dwellings present a great opportunity for visitors to learn about the history of the region. Besides, adults and children can enjoy hikes, which end in cliff dwelling overlooks.

Rocky Mountain National Park

It’s a super introduction to the beautiful Rocky Mountains. During the summer months when the weather is at its best, it allows visitors to experience all of the nature and wildlife of the area. The park has plenty of paths that take hikers into the backcountry of the Rocky Mountains while children will love the guided horseback tours.

Sequoia (红杉)&Kings Canyon (峡谷) National Park

If you are looking for a wide range of California’s natural sights all in one area, this park is a great option. It varies from deep canyons to tall mountains. Here you can visit the largest fore of scquoias in the world. There are excellent recreational activities for the whole family including hiking, camping, swimming and cave exploration.

Yosemite National Park

It’s recreational enthusiasts’ favorite, especially rock climbers. Climbers travel from around the world to take on the challenges presented at Yosemite. For those visitors looking for different recreational activities or family activities, Yosemite has many programs covering a variety of natural sciences and other topics.

This is a true story about something that happened to me last summer. I was spending the holiday    1    (happy) with my family at a beach in the south of England. I was very    2    (interest) in exploring the local area, so one morning I    3    (wake) up early and set off along the quiet road. In my eagerness to discover the local area, I forgot     4    ( tell ) my parents where I was going.

It was a hot, sunny morning and I soon felt thirsty, but I was determined to challenge    5    (me) by walking to the highest point. I’m a good walker and so I pushed my way up the hill, although it was quite hard work. At the top, I saw many birds    6     (fly) around their nests(鸟巢). Feeling curious, I left the road and moved towards the nests. Aha, there were some baby birds in the nest. “If I take     7     picture of the baby birds, will I be attacked?” With     8    (butterfly) in my stomach, I held my camera up and pointed it at the birds.

Just then, one of the birds made a loud noise. I was so surprised     9    I dropped my camera! I didn’t have time to worry     10    it, though. To protect their nests, the birds started to fly at me one by one to make me go away. I rushed back down the hill. Near the bottom of the hill, I heard a car engine. It was my mum’s car! I jumped in and shut the door, looking at her in panic.   “Go! Go! Go!” I shouted. I spent the rest of the summer saving up for a new camera.

A fairy tale (童话) first

The first stages of the H.C. Andersen House in Odense, Denmark — the hometown of the famous fairy tale writer — have opened. The museum offers a completely total experience of attractive indoor and outdoor spaces. TeamLab Planets TOKYO in Toyosu, Tokyo, has shown a new Garden Area with two garden artworks. One of them invites you to get close to 13,000 live orchids (兰花). Visitors will find themselves walking through water and floating as they become one artwork with the flowers. planets.teamlab.art

Sunken (沉没的) city

Dubai landmarks haven’t just gone high, they’ve gone deep! The world’s deepest dive (潜水) pool, Deep Dive Dubai, is the latest record-breaking attraction. Park life just got a little more interesting in New York. Little Island @Pier55 is a human-built island park next to the Hudson River Park.
