Oxford Summer School

Oxford Summer School enables students to live and study in an Oxford University College during the summer. The summer program is designed to give students a chance to study at university, meet other students from around the world and explore the famous city of Oxford.

Cambridge Summer School

Join us to live and study in the noted university city of Cambridge. Explore the city that shaped some of the world’s famous minds, including Sir Isaac Newton and Sylvia Plath. Follow in their footsteps as you experience your chosen subject through a series of lectures and workshops.

Ages: 15-17

Dates: 20 July-28 August

Earlscliffe Summer School

Earlscliffe Summer School is ideally located for both access to London and to a variety of local attractions. The campus is formed of seven Victorian and Edwardian buildings, all recently renovated (翻新) to provide high-quality teaching and residential facilities.

Rochester College Summer School

Rochester Independent College, one of the UK’s most well-established independent colleges, is proud to offer a range of distinctive summer courses. We are offering four different courses in very small classes where international visitors will study and socialize alongside local students.

Last weekend our school held a sports meeting.    1     (realize) it was our last high school sports meeting, we decided    2    (make) it an unforgettable experience for all of us.

We first attended the opening parade, for    3    our class had made a lot of preparations. To our excitement, our parade performance was    4    great success. After the parade, the games started. My classmates attended various     5    (event) such as running, high jump and long jump. Because    6    the hard training they had done before, their performances were very    7    (impress). On the stand, my classmates applauded and cheered for the athletes, some raising their cameras to capture the exciting moments.    8     (final), the result was announced. It was    9     (amaze) that our class won the second place. Our efforts paid off! Cup in hand, we took a picture together.

I believe this sports meeting will remain a precious memory for all of us    10    time goes by.

Yoga Club

Yoga not only improves balance, flexibility, and joint stability, but also serves as a peaceful escape from the stress of daily life. Our students will have the chance to physically exercise while reducing some stress from their life. The club will be available to 10-16 members from grades 7 to 12, and will meet once weekly(Tuesday).

Basketball Club

Students will be able to develop their basketball skills further and have the opportunity to compete in basketball games with members from other international schools in Beijing. The club will be available to 10-16 members from grades 5 to 8, and will practice twice weekly.

Public Speaking Club

The Public Speaking Club will be centered around the personal development of students along with developing public speaking skills. The club will be interested in focusing on all skills in delivering better speeches and improving communication skills. The club will be available to 10-12 members from grades 7 to 12,and will meet once weekly (Wednesday).

Media Club

The Media Club teaches students the basics of journalism. The club engages in a wide range of activities like interviewing teachers and students, writing about big events on campus, and operating the weekly school radio broadcasts. The club will be available to 8-12 members from grades 6-12 and will meet once weekly(Monday).
