Nowadays, we can move around the world and still stay in touch with     1     people that we want to remain friends with. Social media tools let us see what our friends are up     2     and maintain friendships. All we need is a wi-fi     3     (connect). The digital age also     4     (able) us to find people who share our     5     (interest). But when you “friend” people online, does this mean that they     6     (real) are your friends? It depends. If people always exchange true personal information online, then yes, these friendships can be real and     7     (meaning). But we need to keep in mind that     8     we see on social media is often not the whole truth about a person. On social media sites, people tend     9     (post)only positive updates that make them appear happy     10     friendly. But this doesn’t mean that we should throw the baby out with the bathwater.

I have a neighbor we call "Happy". I have never seen her angry at anything and never heard her say a harsh (苛刻) word to anyone or about anyone. They always have a positive attitude     1     other people and the society.

Happy and her husband Ben. 70, have a huge garden on which they spent many happy hours together working. Most of the neighbors watched interestingly as Ben doubled the size of     2     (they) garden. As the cost of food climbed faster, we all wished we also had such a large garden.

One day last month was the time     3     Happy and Ben asked most of the neighbors to go for an “all-day food feast". The place where we     4     (invite) to go was their house.
