My father took me out camping for the first time when I was seven. He wanted teach me about animals, insects and trees. My uncles all come along with bows and arrows for hunting.

One evening at sunset, we sat by the fire, having our barbecue. Just then a bird was flying over us. My uncles immediate jumped up and shot their arrows on the bird. I went to watch the ballet The Peony Pavilion last Sunday’s evening. Because I think ballet was more or less the same everywhere, I was total unprepared for its unique beauty. I was absorb as soon as the curtain rose up. The performance borrowed a lot from Chinese dance and music, but the Eastern influence on the ballet was clear. The production was filled in colours and romantic symbols, and challenged my sense in new ways. So much did I enjoy that it has changed my opinion about ballet. I can’t wait to going again!

I was told that the three Ps, patience, positive thinking and perseverance, was a sure path to success. And this advice does not always work as planned. My high school maths exam is one example. An exam, which was originally to be held in our classroom, was changed to the library at the last minute. It, however, didn't bother me because maths had always been my strongest subject. I patient walked to the library, took my seat and did some deep breathing to help relax me. But my mood changed quickly when I saw the first question. I had no idea what to do it. I was tried to stay positive and persevered until I finally found the solution. With the problem solving, I felt proud of my achievement.

Unfortunately, I then noticed that I had just 10 minutes left complete the rest.

Last summer, I planned to save money for a trip. My father told to me a local zoo was looking for teenagers to work on the weekend, so I immediate applied for the position. To my delight, I got it. Now I’d like to tell you something about my part-time job this summer vacation, of which I worked like a guide in a travel agency.

The work was interesting but tired. I think it was helpful to work this holiday. It was the first time that I have earned money on my own.

I’ve come to understand how hard my parents work to support for the family. I used to keep on ask them for money, but now I’ll never waste money and learn to share worry with my parent. I've learnt how to get along well with others. What's worse, I’ve gained some working and social experience and I have learnt something can' t be learnt from textbooks. Our school newspaper is looked for an editor for its English edition. The responsibilities of the job main include two parts. One is to choose proper English articles from other newspaper, magazines or the Internet for us students, that are eager to get interesting information in English. And other is to pick out articles from those written by students in our school and edit it for use.
